Our system is firmly rooted in the teachings and knowledge of the ancient Tibetan tradition of Yantra Yoga, one of the oldest recorded systems of yoga in the world. These centuries of
experience and understanding inform our approach to teaching.
Our teachers have years of experience in teaching yoga and, more recently, the principles of Harmonious Breathing. Each is qualified to teach various forms of traditional yoga, and has also been certified to teach Harmonious Breathing. Most importantly, each brings, understanding, enthusiasm and humor to each class.
Born and raised in Italy, Fabio Andrico is an internationally-recognized teacher of Yantra Yoga. He initially studied Hatha Yoga in India, and has been learning, practising and teaching since the late 1970s. He also teaches a simple technique for developing conscious and harmonious breathing, presented in the “Breathe” video.
Fabio regularly conducts courses, workshops and teacher training around the world, including courses for well-known Associations and Yoga Centres such as Kripalu, Esalen, Yoga Tree in the USA, and the Yoga Federation in Russia.
He has appeared in Yoga DVDs such as “The Eight Movements of Yantra Yoga” and “Breathe” as well as “Tibetan Yoga of Movement Levels 1 and 2”. He collaborated with Chögyal Namkhai Norbu on the book Yantra Yoga: the Tibetan Yoga of Movement, and is the author of Tibetan Yoga of Movement (The Art and Practice of Yantra Yoga), published in 2012 by North Atlantic Books and Shang Shung Publications.
Fabio speaks Spanish, is fluent in Italian and English, and mostly teaches in English.
Patrizia Pearl was born and raised in Switzerland, and is fluent in French and English, as well as speaking Spanish and German. She started practising Yantra Yoga in 1989 after meeting the Great Dzogchen Master Chögyal Namkhai Norbu, and has led and taught Yantra Yoga and Harmonious Breathing classes in many countries. She received her first level Yantra Yoga diploma from Chogyal Namkhai Norbu in 2010, and her second level diploma in 2014.
After studying the profound methods of Harmonious Breathing and the anatomy of breathing with Fabio Andrico, in October 2013 she was certified to teach this exceptional method of breathing.
A graduate of Swiss Hotel School, she has extensive experience in people skills, and from 1998 until 2009 was PR, Call Centre Manager and Director for a home care medical service she co-founded in New Zealand, where she raised her 3 children.
Alessandra Policreti was born in Italy but has since lived in different countries and is now established in Spain. She speaks Italian, English, Spanish and some French. Alessandra started practising Yantra Yoga some 20 years ago with senior instructors and students of the Tibetan Master Chogyal Namkhai Norbu.
Since then she has also experienced different methods and disciplines like Iyengar Yoga, contemporary and modern dance, Pilates, and this has allowed her to develop a greater awareness of the body in movement and also its connection with the breathing. She was authorized as a first level Yantra Yoga instructor in 2010 and since then has been holding regular classes and practice groups in Italy and Spain.
Recognizing the importance of these profound breathing methods, Alessandra has attended various courses of Harmonious Breathing with Fabio Andrico and has studied the anatomy of breathing. In June 2016 she was accredited to teach Harmonious Breathing.
Naomi Zeitz was born and raised in the USA. She has studied and practised Yantra Yoga since 1987, when she met the Dzogchen Master, Chögyal Namkhai Norbu. Naomi was initially authorised to teach Yantra Yoga at the first level in 2008, and then at the second level in 2010. She has taught the methods of Yantra Yoga and Harmonious Breathing all over
Following extensive study of Yantra Yoga and Harmonious Breathing methods with Fabio Andrico, in October 2013 Naomi received her diploma to teach this exceptionally beneficial method of breathing. She specializes in working with people of very different ages and different physical conditions.
Vicki Sidley was born and raised in South Africa. She has resided in California since 1977. She began practicing Yoga in the early 70’s, and has been a Yoga teacher for 16 years, accredited in 2002 by Yoga Arts in Australia at the 500 hour level. Her classes draw from many sources, including classical Hatha Yoga and Zen traditions.
In early 2014 she was introduced to Yantra Yoga of the great Dzogchen master Chogyal Namkhai Norbu, and recognized it as uniquely effective. She has practiced this art regularly since.
Vicki has taken the first and second open level Yantra Yoga courses. She has attended courses in Harmonious Breathing and the anatomy of breathing with Fabio Andrico, and has helped him edit a book on the subject. In 2015 she was authorized to teach this profound method of breathing, beneficial to all.
Gloria Pinsach was born and raised in Catalonia, Spain. She began to practice yoga in 1993, and has trained in Yantra Yoga since 2005. She was authorized by Chögyal Namkhai Norbu to teach the first level of Yantra Yoga in 2010 and the second level in 2015. She is also a musician and a piano teacher.
She continues to go deeper in her practice and is always studying to expand her knowledge, attending Yantra Yoga and Harmonious Breathing training courses with senior instructor Fabio Andrico.
Gloria gives regular Yantra Yoga and Harmonious Breathing courses in Barcelona where she lives, and she has taught courses in other regions of Spain (Madrid, Galicia, Basque Region and Andalucía), as well as in Glasgow, Scotland. She is fluent in Spanish and English.
Maxim Leshchenko has been practicing yoga for 9 years. He started with Hatha Yoga, and then discovered the Tibetan Yoga of Movement and breathing and deeply devoted himself to this practice. He was authorized as a Yantra Yoga instructor by the Master Chögyal Namkhai Norbu in 2010, became a second level teacher in 2014 and a 3rd level teacher early in 2017. Max also received is certification as a Harmonious Breathing instructor from Fabio Andrico, the renown international Yantra Yoga teacher. Max speaks and teaches in Russian and English language.
Jesus Suarez has been a practitioner of Yantra Yoga for 18 years, and for the last seven years he has led and taught courses in Paris. He received his Yantra Yoga diploma from Chogyal Namkhai Norbu in 2010. Besides Yantra Yoga he has studied martial arts (Kung Fu, Taichi, Qi Qong), traditional massage and relaxation techniques for more than 15 years.
He studied Harmonious Breathing and the anatomy of breathing with Fabio Andrico, and is certified to teach this exceptional and profound method of breathing. He has attended numerous teaching and meditation courses on Tibetan Traditions, mostly with Chogyal Namkhai Norbu Rimpoche and Tarab Tulkou Rimpoche. He is also a follower of Vipassana meditation, Chan teachings and practice, and Zen meditation. Jesus has been a student of Chogyal Namkhai Norbu Rimpoche since 1998.
Sergio Quaranta was born in Rome in 1953. Always interested in yoga, he started out by reading numerous books on the subject. He met his Master, Chögyal Namkhai Norbu, and was at a Dzogchen Teachings retreat in California when he discovered Yantra Yoga, the Tibetan yoga of movements, in 1981. Since then he has practised Yantra Yoga regularly, and over the years has also practised Hatha Yoga and Iyengar Yoga.
He received his first level Yantra Yoga diploma in 2005 and his second level diploma in 2014 . Recently, recognizing the importance of correct breathing for everybody, whether or not active practitioners of yoga, he has followed the seminars on “Breathe” by Fabio Andrico, and has now been accredited to teach this method too. He gives weekly lessons and seminars in Rome.
Luke has been studying and practicing yoga for over 18 years and teaches Tibetan yantra yoga and traditional hatha yoga.
He was authorized to teach yantra yoga by his teacher Chögyal Namkhai Norbu in 2013.
He completed studies of Harmonious Breathing with Fabio in 2015 and has been inspired by the insight it has provided in unlocking the benefits of mindful breathing with people from all walks of life.
Luke is also a California licensed massage therapist and nationally certified Ayurveda Lifestyle Counselor with a bodywork practice utilizing tui na, energetic,and orthopedic manual therapy techniques.
He is fluent in English and Spanish and lives in Oakland, California.
Carla Castellani was born and raised in Italy. At university she majored in English and German literature. She has an extensive experience in teaching, both in schools – as a teacher – and in companies – as a trainer and a marketing & communication consultant. She is fluent in Italian, English, Spanish and she speaks German.
Carla started practicing Yantra Yoga in 2001, after meeting the Dzogchen Master Chögyal Namkhai Norbu, from whom she received her 1st Level Yantra Yoga diploma in 2012 and her 2nd Level diploma in 2015. She also teaches Kumar Kumari, the Yantra Yoga for children. She deepened her knowledge of breathing with Fabio Andrico and in January 2016 she was certified to teach Harmonious Breathing.
Carla has very good communication skills, which she uses to work with people of all ages and capacities.
Maaja Zelmin began practising Yoga in the early 1980s, and has been a Yoga teacher for over 20 years. Maaja is both a Classical Hatha Yoga and Tibetan Yantra Yoga teacher. She has been a disciple of Chögyal Namkhai Norbu Rinpoche since 1992. In 2005 she received her first level Yantra Yoga diploma, and in 2010 her second level diploma from Chögyal Namkhai Norbu.
At present she is the only authorised Yantra Yoga teacher in Estonia, and has conducted Yantra Yoga courses in Finland, Latvia and Norway. Maaja is also an authorized teacher of classical Hatha Yoga, and received her diploma at Kṛiṣṇamacharya’s School of Yoga.Maaja has participated in Fabio Andrico’s courses on Harmonious Breathing since 2005. In 2013 she was authorised to teach Harmonious Breathing. She is married, with three children.
Nataly Nitsche was born in Venezuela. A Spanish, English and German speaker, she has lived in Costa Rica for the last 11 years. Nataly started her career at a young age as a dancer. She has practised yoga since 2007, and in 2011 was accredited as a first level Yantra Yoga teacher qnd second level teacher in 2014 by Chögyal Namkhai Norbu.
Nataly developed a profound understanding of Harmonious Breathing with Fabio Andrico. She has attended different Yantra Yoga teacher training courses in Venezuela, USA, Spain, Ukraine and Switzerland. Nataly has 9 years of experience teaching bodywork, beginning with dance, then yoga, and also as a Thai Massage therapist.
Mira Mironova was born and raised in Moscow. She has studied and practised Yantra Yoga since 2005, when she met the Dzogchen Master, Chögyal Namkhai Norbu.
Mira was authorized to teach Yantra Yoga at the first level in 2012 and received her diploma to teach Harmonious Breathing methods in 2013. She has taught methods of Yantra Yoga and Harmonious Breathing mainly in Russian-speaking areas.
Fluent in English and a Romanian speaker, she is a qualified school teacher and has extensive educational skills, which she uses to work with people of all ages.
